He was predeceased by: his son Shawn McCarthy; his siblings, Edward McCarthy and Patricia McCarthy; and his stepdaughter Jamie Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Connie Lou McCarthy; and his children, Karen McCarthy of South Plainfield, Michael McCarthy (Mary) of Allentown, NJ and Brian McCarthy (Corey) of Hillsborough. He is also survived by grandchildren and six adored great grandchildren.
