He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hons and Emma Hons. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his daughters, Shannon Vanderheiden (Brian) of Bethel, CT and Tara Hons of Hillsborough, NJ.; his grandson Tommy Vanderheiden of Bethel, CT; and his sister Gerry Nelli of Catskill, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
