It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daria Samotulka of Hillsborough, New Jersey, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Slyz and Olha Slyz; her husbands, Paul Hrycak and Theodosy Samotulka; her daughter Larysa; and her siblings, Yurij Slyz, Anton Slysh, Wolodymyr Slyz, Dr. Maria Fischer and Jaroslawa Panchuk.

She is survived by: her children, Olga Hrycak of Morristown, NJ, Martha Samotulka of Hillsborough, NJ and Gene Hrycak of Allentown, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Alex Hrycak and Natalie Hrycak.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to: Ukrainian National Women's League of America, 203 2nd Ave., New York, New York 10003.
