She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leroy Heater and Minnie Heater (Haines); her spouse Merritt Scott; her daughters, Carol Czuprewicz of Washington, Joyce Welton (Clifford) of Bridgewater and Arlene Carroll (Robert) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Dawn Apfel, Sandy Apfel (Anthony Lorelli), Timothy Welton and Karen Ibberson (Roy); her great grandchildren, Justine Marie, Heather Marie, Paige Nicole, Scott Steven, Michael Scott, Jacob Ryan, Jaxon Merritt and Jenna Elizabeth; her great great grandchildren, Isabella Hope, Aaliyah Rose, Cayden John and Caylee Lynn; and her sister Janet Batzel. She was also cherished by her loving nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed crocheting and knitting; so much so, that she often donated mittens to those in need in Hillsborough.
