It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Colangelo (Hillsborough, New Jersey), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Anthony had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Anthony may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Colangelo and Doris Colangelo (Seals); his significant other Cheryl; the fathers of children, Michael, Jake and Wyatt; his grandson Francesco Anthony (Frankie); and also Allie.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillsborough Funeral Home (796 US-206, Hillsborough Township, NJ 08844). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo (47 Skillman Rd, Skillman, NJ 08558). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Rocky Hill Cemetery (129 Montgomery Rd, Skillman, NJ 08553).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Sharing Network Foundation. Approximately ten years ago, Anthony received the gift of life via direct organ donation from the Sudano Family for which we will forever be grateful.

“Anthony was one of the first people I met when my family came Montgomery over 20 years ago. One of the few natives in town. We were friends from the start with similar interests and kids close in age. Always there for us as a friend and willing to help. At the same time he took "no crap" from anyone and always stood his ground. An "old school" combination that is hard to find these days. Down to earth and true grit. I will miss him and his kindness. RIP my friend. DiTorrice prayers are with you.”
