Beatty and Bernie Maxey; his wife Jeanne; his grandchildren, Mia Hunter, Sogo Suzuki, Sofia Romanelli, Manon Jadot, Thea Suzuki, Luca Romanelli, Olivier Jadot, Blake Romanelli and Zoe Hunter; his siblings, Julie Collison-Careathers (Sinclair), Betty Hunter-Beatty (Vander L.) and William Hunter (Crystal); and his brother-in-law Hillard W. Pouncy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
