He was predeceased by: his wife Mary G. Downs. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Downs of Hamilton, NJ, Tony, Christy Downs of Lawton, OK, Tom and Carol Downs of Lawton, OK.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in William's name may be made to St. David's Episcopal Church.
