He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Schacklinscky and Barbara Schacklinscky; and his sister Claire O'Connell. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Amanda O'Connell, Ryan O'Connell, Shannon O'Connell, Jeff Shumsky and Karyn O'Connell; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brantley, Kolten, Emily, Aubrey Claire and Owen; and his daughter-in-law Kate.
