It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella C Basso (Hightstown, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Vlatys and Mary Vlatys; and her brother Nicholas Vlatys. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Basso (Michael Vecchi), Elizabeth Scafa (Dave) and Margaret Harvey (John); her grandchildren, Anthony Tavormina (Danielle), Ryan Blendermann, Stephanie Scafa (Mark) and Christine Scafa; her niece Diane McClusick; and her nephew Stephen Amodei.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marcella's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
