With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M Gannon of Hightstown, New Jersey, born in Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on November 3, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Gannon and Lesette M. Gannon (Rodler); his son Robert J. Gannon; and his siblings, Mary Frances Marshall, John D. Gannon, Margaret L. Dempsey and Patricia Y. Barry.

He is survived by: his wife Esther Velázquez; his pets, Dusty and Teddy Gannon; his mother-in-law Carmen Velázquez; his son Dr. Christopher J. Gannon; his daughter-in-law Karin E. Gannon; his grandchildren, Lex Gannon, Kaelyn Gannon and Maddie Gannon; and his sisters-in-law, Ramona Velázquez, Rosalia Velázquez, Anita Velázquez and Nancy Velázquez Velázquez-Battle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
