Though Iris may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Iris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Felix Meza and Enriqueta Meza; and her siblings, Gladys, Fernando, Pedro and Nila.

She is survived by : her sister Adalgisa; her sons, Juan Villegas (Danielle) and Francisco Villegas; and her grandson Drew Villegas.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home (202 Stockton St, Hightstown, NJ 08520). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
