It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Griffin (Hightstown, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Ernest Armstong; and her parents, Charles Mayo and Doretha Maynard. She is survived by: her daughters, Brianna Sierra Griffin and Crystal Symone Burno; her son-in-law Hakeem Burno; her grandchildren, Ja'Den Patterson, Hy'Amovi Patterson, Jo'Sanni Griffin, Anthone Cameron and Craig Miller; her former spouse Lamone Griffin; her siblings, Susan Armstrong, Renee Canady, Ella Mayo and Curtis Armstrong; her siblings-in-law, Darrin Canady and Carol Allen; and her nieces and nephews, Charise Mack, Tiffany Allen, Kayson Allen, Sky Allen, Chapmen Canady, Chad Canady and Xavier Canady. She is also survived by her many cousins and friends.
Due to the pandemic, the service and burial will be limited to immediate family.
