It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Simmons (Highlands, New Jersey), born in Geneva, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Simmons; and his children, Carol Ann Simmons and Christopher Thomas Simmons. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Martin Simmons (Pat) of Albrightsville, Robert Scott Simmons (Debbie) of Waretown and David Joseph Simmons (Lori) of Hazlet; and his brother Gerald Simmons.

Due to the currently COVID-19 health crisis, visitation and services will be held privately for the immediate family only.
