We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 93, Joseph Melvin Rimmer (Highland Park, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Joseph Melvin may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia and Alex; and his brother Albert. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Rimmer (Randy Fisher) and Lisa Roe (Mike); his grandchildren, Maddie MacIsaac, Katie Roe and Connor MacIsaac; and his pet Maggie.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Donaldson Park (526 S 2nd Ave, Highland Park, NJ 08904). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Humane Society or Natural Resources Defense Council.
