It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Landante of Highland Park, New Jersey, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaetano Rizzo and Angela Rizzo (Gabriele); her siblings, Frank Rizzo, Sarah Vitale-Castellano and Peter Rizzo; and her son-in-law Peter Yachimovicz.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Landante; her children, Mary Yachimovicz and Ernest Jr. (Diane); her grandchildren, Raymond Franklin and Pamela Rivera; and her great grandchild Liam Franklin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boylan Funeral Home - Edison (10 Wooding Ave, Edison, NJ 08817). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (502 Raritan Ave, Highland Park, NJ 08904). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (500 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations in Gloria's name be sent to Kiddie Camp Well Camp, 35 Roosevelt Dr., Edison, NJ 08837, and Catholic Charities.
