He was predeceased by: his parents, John Caponi and Giustina Piccolomini; his siblings, Ovidio Caponi and Dea Caponi Xiuref; and his sister-in-law Livia Potalivo.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Baldini Caponi; his sister-in-law Concetta D'Alfonso; his niece Patricia Henderson (John); and his nephews, Maurice Potalivo, Alessandro Potalivo (Elaine), Francesco (Marilena) and Angelo D'Alfonso (Stefania).
