He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha H. Render (Reilly) and John A. Render; and his siblings, Bertha Bishop (Render), John Render, Robert Render and Kenneth Render.

He is survived by: his sisters, Theresa Woods and Marguerite Barre; and his siblings-in-law, Francis Barre and Jean Render. He is also survived by his 33 nieces and nephews, as well as many more great-nieces and nephews.
