She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Dalton; her brother Gary Hudspeth; and her daughter Brook Thaxton. She is survived by: her son Jared Thaxton (Gabriela) of Newark; her mother Mary Holmes of Somerset; her sisters, Marsette McDaniel of North Brunswick and Toni Holmes of Brooklyn, NY; and her grandson Zion Thaxton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
