It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Mary Silva of Hazlet, New Jersey, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Maksel and Marie Maksel (Rudy); and her sister Patricia Tenety (Maksel). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Pivano (Craig) of Hazlet, David Silva (Nicole) of Browns Mills and Christopher Silva (Regina) of North Arlington; her sister Donna Goepfert; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Jack, Emma, Lucas and Jenna. She is also survived by extended family members and friends and her beloved grand-dogs.
