He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ciccio and Lilly Ciccio; his wife Eleanor Ciccio (Pompeo); and his son-in-law Fred Varlese. He is survived by: his children, Marie Varlese, Peter Ciccio and John Ciccio (Lisa); his grandchildren, Denise (Mark), Michelle (Mike), John Jr. (Katy), Joseph, Anthony, Kaila, Gina and Jason; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey, Brayden, Myles, Sophia, Grady, Aubrey and Eleanor; his siblings-in-law, Pat and Carol; and his friends, Kevin and Joan O'Brien. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
