He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Michalski and Ruth Looser Michalski Houlday (Looser); his stepfather Thomas Houlday; and his siblings, Joan Michalski and Donald Michalski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Michaels (Mullican) of Old Bridge, Cathy Kear (Matthew) of San Diego and Diane Dahl (Diedrick) of Kendall Park; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Dahl, Victoria Dahl, Sara Mullican, Erin Mullican and April Kear; and his niece Tracey Algayer (Kurt).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A prayer was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
