He is survived by: his wife Eliza Jones Maddux; his daughter Jamie Donahue (Brian) of Scotch Plains; his mother Lonell Rainey Maddux; his siblings, Sherman Maddux, Kathy Butler, Aldrena Payne and Patricia Reid; and his grandchildren, Maddux McAndrews and Avery Donahue.
