He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Szeles and Rose Szeles (Bruno); and his sisters, Maryann Merkel and Carol Armbrust. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Szeles (MacGeorge); and his children, Maureen Vanderweerd, Dori Shields (Frank Denorscio) of Whiting, Caroline King (Richard), Peter Jr., John, Robert, Paul and Troy. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and many Great-grandchildren.
