She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Makely and Elizabeth Makely (Kenneth A. Heckel). She is survived by: her children, Kim Buckley of Austin, Kenneth Heckel of Hazlet, Keith Heckel (Joyce) of South Plainfield and Kathleen Smith (Kenneth) of Ramsey; her grandchildren, Jack Buckley, Kelly Kinard, Lisa Kyle, Keith Heckel, Jenna Becker, Kaitlyn Smith and Kristyn Smith; and her great grandchildren, Kiley, Kate, Graham and Ford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Mary to The Catholic Church of St. Ann would be greatly appreciated.
