She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Olenhaus and Regina Budd Olenhaus; her siblings, Barbara Bartholomew and Francis Olenhaus; her brothers-in-law, Stanley Bartholomew, Benito Rotondo and Michael Conlin; her nephews, Thomas Bartholomew and Matthew Rotondo; her niece Karen Conlin; and her grandson Kenneth James Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Valentino (John), Robert Sariego (Annie), Barbara Jane Garcia, Kenneth Garcia (Amy), Victoria Rice (Vincent) and Adam Garcia (Diane); her grandchildren, Deidra Garcia (Andres), Vincent Solomeno III (Casey), Ryan Sariego (Nicole), Eric Hoff (Marissa), Gregory Hoff, Nicole Martinez, Michael Garcia (Reyhan), Vincent Rice (Angie), Samantha Garcia (Willie), Nicholas Rice (Kryss), Jeremie Garcia and Giada Garcia; her great grandchildren, Eliana, Juliette Sariego, Luca, Nico, Wren Hoff, Willie, Max Peters, Andres Marcus Arias and Damien Rice; and her sisters, Loretta Conlin and Dorothy Rotondo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was among the small group of nurses who volunteered to care for AIDS patients in the early days of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Margaret to the Wounded Warrior Project would be greatly appreciated.
