She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smith and Mildred Smith (Haberstroh); her husband Charles F. Tonks; and her brothers, James Smith, Thomas Smith and Eugene Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Tonks (Cindy) of Whiting, Craig Tonks of Aberdeen, Kevin Tonks (Janice), Brian Tonks (Debbie) of Dania Beach, Karen North (Tom) of Middletown and Carleen Sanchez (Phil) of Keyport; her grandchildren, Jill, Keith, Michelle, Kyle, Justin, Darin, Ryan, Connor, Caitlin and Jamie; and her great grandchildren, McKenna, Jordan, Carter, Hayden, Ava, Blake, Laci, Brianna, Everett, Viola and James.
