He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolo Straniero and Rosalia Straniero (Toscano); his siblings, Salvatore Straniero (Loretta), Gino Straniero, Ann Cannizaro (Ben) and Lena Pallitto (James); and his sisters-in-law, Leona Straniero and Marie Straniero.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Straniero (Colleen) of Brick, Paul Straniero (Teresa) of Westminster and Catherine Mondi (Mark) of Kendall Park; his brothers, Nicholas Straniero, Anthony Straniero (Glenda) and Joseph Straniero (Pat); and his sister-in-law Zabelle Straniero. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
