We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2024, at the age of 78, Joey Sudyka of Hazlet, New Jersey, born in Irvington, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joey Sudyka to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Caroline Sudyka (Michalski); his parents-in-law, Wallace and Lillian Maraldo; and his brother-in-law Craig Maraldo.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sudyka (Maraldo); his stepchildren, Fred Marx (Katerina) and Lisa Quinn (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kevin, Jennifer (Russell), Steven, Alexa (Quinn) and Brian; his brothers, William Sudyka and Michael Sudyka (Sandi); his siblings-in-law, Peter and Pam Maraldo; his nieces and nephews, Brooke, Brandon (Nikkie), Michael, Nicholas and Thomas; and his close friend Bill Pisciotta.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church (165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holmdel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Joey to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
