We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, at the age of 82, Joann Giglio of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joann leaves behind.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Ozupka of Hazlet; her son Vito Giglio of Marathon; her granddaughter Melissa Hanna of Daytona Beach; her brother Ralph Lucignano of Marathon; and her cousin Joyce Brugnola of Hazlet.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730). An entombment was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ocean County Memorial Park (280 Wells Mills Rd, Waretown, NJ 08758).
