He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Josephine Cunningham (Sanger); and his brothers, James, John and Joseph Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Marietta T. Cunningham (Manzo); his sons, Jerome F. Cunningham Jr. of Hazlet and Patrick A. Cunningham of Keansburg; his grandson Jerome R. F. Cunningham III; and his sister-in-law Josephine Cunningham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
