He is survived by: his children, Frank Kauffmann, Ann Wassel, Conrad Kauffmann, II (Kathy), John Kauffmann (Michelle), Harold Kauffman, Jr., Rosemary Kauffmann, Elizabeth Kauffmann, Joseph Kauffmann and Bridget Kauffmann Sousa; and his grandchildren, Annmarie Athanaspasos, Theresa Kauffmann Macko, Debra Kauffmann, Conrad Kauffmann, III, Bernadette Bivens, Albert DiMaggio, Jr., Thomas DiMaggio, Annmarie Stout and John Kauffmann, Jr.. He is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren.
