He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Riebe and Hilda Riebe (Kletting); his wife Maria Riebe; his sons, Frederick and Erwin Riebe; and his siblings, Gerard Riebe, Marian Wagner and Eleanor Bohman.
He is survived by: his children, James Riebe, Danielle D'Amico, Jennifer Anderson, David Riebe, Jeffrey Riebe, Debra Crow, Kerry Riebe and Scott Riebe. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
