He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Lane and Catherine McHugh Lane; and his uncle John Lane. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Matthew and Katie; his grandson Lucas; his sister Rosemary Wehr; his brother-in-law Jan; his sister Susan Berka; his siblings-in-law, Tim, Beth Luetjen and Steve; his nieces, Kelly Hynes (Jim), Kasey Vendemia (Vinnie), Jessica Berka, Anna Paulsen (Jed) and Sarah Hassemer (Lucas); his nephew Doug Luetjen (Becca); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison Mahoney, Morgan Mahoney, Molly Hynes, Elsie Hassamer, Brynley Paulsen, Noah Hynes, Jackson Paulsen, Carter Paulsen, Anders Hassemer, Maddox Luetjen and Stetson Luetjen.
