It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Joseph Brett of Hazlet, New Jersey, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brett and Margaret Brett (Cody); his son David; his siblings, Thomas, James, Sean, David, Mary "Mamie" Shortis and Margaret "Peggy" O'Neill; and his granddaughter Angeline.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Brett (Hannon); his daughters, Melissa (Darren) of Browns Mills and Anita of Hazlet; his sister Ann "Nan" Garvin; his grandchildren, Brianna, Liam, Christian and Gavin; his niece Melanie; and his nephews, Danny, Justin and Eric. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
