He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith and Charles Wells, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wells (Greene); his children, Michael C. Wells, Courtney Wells Lawson, Elizabeth Wells and Christopher C. Wells; the mother of his children Jeanne McCarthy Wells; his stepchildren, Caitlin Altland and Brendan Flanagan; his siblings, Barbara Wells and Gary Wells; and his grandchildren, Lexus, Dale, Livia, Delilah Lawson, Renee, Michaela, Abigail, Evan Wells, Yasir, Nora Muhammad, Parker and Morgan Altland.
