She is survived by: her husband Mauro Mele; her sister Angela DeGennaro; her niece Rose Buffa (Tom) of Holmdel; and her nephew Mauro DeGennaro of Hazlet. She is also survived by nieces and nephews in Italy, extended family and friends.
