He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard P. Harney and Rita Harney (McCauley). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Harney (Lynch); his children, Bryan C. Harney (Heather) and Brendan P. Harney (Julie) of New York; and his grandchildren, Declan, Isla and Quinn Harney.
