He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Avril Hand; his children, Kieran Hand (Josie), Lisa Hand of Maine, Gregory Hand of Hawthorne, Austin Hand (Sarit) of Fair Lawn and Blake Hand (Gina Russo) of Riverdale; his grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, Madison, Sadie and Sydney; and his brother Ted Hand (Helen).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
