With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine L. Sylvester (Hawthorne, New Jersey), who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Perrotti and Fred Perrotti; her husband Carmine P. Sylvester; her son-in-law Maurice R. Rolando; her grandson Brian R. Rolando; her sister Florence Liguori (John); and her nephew John Liguori Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Donna M. Rolando of Bayville and David M. Sylvester (Nancy) of Hawthorne; her grandsons, Raymond R. Rolando (Angela) of Jefferson, Dominic A. Sylvester and Joseph D. Sylvester of Hawthorne; and her great grandchild Ela Elizabeth Rolando. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sunday: 8:00am, 10:00am 12 noon (Spanish/English), In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Church in Josephine's name.
