In loving memory of James J. Buell of Hawthorne, New Jersey, who departed this world on October 26, 2024 at the age of 92. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. (Florence E. Buell) and Hawthorne; and his siblings, Constance, William, Raymond Evelyn and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Buell; his daughter Kathleen Maher (Walter); his grandson James J. Maher (Rebecca); and his great grandchild Kaitlyn Maher.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 9:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Seeing Eye Inc. of Morristown.
