He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith Diane Hughes; his son Jeremy Hughes (Tina); his stepchildren, David Cleary, Frank Cleary and Jacqueline Cochran (Daniel); his grandchildren, Sean Hughes, Douglas Patrick Maxwell, Mackenzie Cleary and Christian Cochran; his siblings, Richard Hughes (Lorraine), Colleen Hughes (Joseph), Pamela Farinick (Bruce) and Patrick Hughes; his mother Betty Lou Hughes; his sister Betty Hughes-Storti; and his father James Henry Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
