With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Claire Silvestri of Hawthorne, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Kenneth Kavanagh; her twin-sister Lorraine McEwan; and her sister Donna Braen. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Silvestri; her children, Jeri Ann Kavanagh of Hawthorne, Joni Ann Huston (Barry) of Hawthorne and Ellen Marie Schroter (Dave) of Hawthorne; her grandchildren, Kimberly Hiza (Robert) of Franklin Lakes, Peter G. Kavanagh of Hawthorne, Barilyn Huston of Ringwood, Nicholas Schroter (Cara) of Franklin Lakes and Bryan Schroter (Stephanie) of Montclair; and her great grandchildren, Milena, Max, Emma, Skylar, Jack and Olivia.
