With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Joan Ferraro of Hawthorne, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her spouse Modestino "Gus" Ferraro; and her parents, Frank Roskowski and Charlotte Roskowski. She is survived by: her children, James Ferraro (Mara) of Carlsbad, CA and Thomas Ferraro (Julia) of Ridgewood; her grandchildren, Giuliana, Dario and Anton; her granddaughter-in-law Valeria; her granddaughters, Elizabeth and Charlotte; her great grandchild Bianca Barbara; her friend Robert Heaney; her siblings, Ray Roskowski (Joyce), Lorraine Stoughton (late Alan) and Paul Roskowski (Roberta); and also Nicole Smith (Scott). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Louis Bay 2nd Public Library and Community Center in Hawthorne.
