He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Stefania Porporino; his children, Roberto Porporino (Kate), Marina Porporino (Nicholas) and Stefano Porporino; his granddaughter Mila Porporino; his parents, Emma Cianni and Roberto Porporino; and his siblings, Enzo Porporino (Antoinetta), Carmela Zicca (Franco), Gisella Porporino, Tullio Porporino and Cinzia Russo (Enzo). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
