He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lois Steiner; his children, Paul Steiner (Lisa) of Hawthorne, Michael Steiner of Maplewood and Drew Steiner (Jessica) of Coatesville, PA.; and his brother Michael Steiner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Midland Park Fire Department or to the Midland Park Lions Club.
