We bid farewell to Alla Hirs of Hawthorne, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2024 at the age of 100. Alla touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Alla leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Henry Hirs; her children, Rein Hirs of Mohegan Lake, NY, Anne Hirs (late David Yennior) of Belleville and John Henry Hirs of Annapolis, MD.; her grandchildren, Ragnar, Justin, Erik, Alex, Kennet and Aiden; and her great grandchildren, Quinn and Aaron.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kensico Cemetery (273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595).
