She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ernst and Lucille Ernst; and her siblings, Paul, Louis Ernst and Alice Gambill.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Genco; her children, Joanette Femia (Frank), Lucy Brenzel (Kenneth), Nina Ortore (Michael), Marian Hobbins (Michael) and Joseph Genco (Catherine); her grandchildren, Anthony Patrick, Vincent Patrick (Sarah), Christopher Patrick (Caitlyn), Kathryn Patrick, Michelle Patrick, Keryn Patrick, William Patrick, Grace Patrick, Michael Patrick, Olivia Patrick, Caitlin Patrick and Joseph Patrick; her great grandchildren, Luca, Everleigh and Juniper; and her siblings, Mary Lauer, Jo Ann Cwiklowski and James Ernst. She is also survived by wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family asks that donations in Kathie's name be made to Sacred Heart Church at 102 Park Street, Haworth, N.J., 07641 in lieu of flowers.
