With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria V. Vella (Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Nespoli and Emilia Nespoli; her spouse Thomas Vella; her daughter Connie DeGennaro (Patrick); and her brother Dominic.
She is survived by: her children, Emilia Strafford (Michael), Denise Revello (Joseph), Vincent Vella (Linda) and Louis Vella (Louise); her siblings, Pasquale, Anthony, Carmela Nespoli, Christina Marino, Anna Vella and Susan Lauro; and her grandchildren, Katelyn, Vincent, David and Sarah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
