She was predeceased by: her parents, Giorgio Verutti and Anna Verutti (Belliardo); and her husband Biagio Nigito. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Nigito (Maria) and George Nigito (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Melinda Thiel, Brian Nigito (Stephanie), Renée Carr (Alex), Joseph B. Nigito (Kimberly) and Christina Nigito; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Skylar Thiel, Sean, Ella Nigito, Vincent G. Nigito and Miabella Gomes.

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
