She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shust and Mary Shust; her husband Lloyd Gallagher; and her sister Evelyn Jadick. She is survived by: her child Mary-Elizabeth Karklin (late Robert E. Karklin, Jr.); her siblings, Anna Pelachyk and John Shust, Jr.; her grandchildren, Robert L. Karklin (Jessica), Jeffrey Karklin (Holly) and Elizabeth Stolt (Tom); and her great grandchildren, Julianna, Henry, Sean and Allison.
